Project Summary

At the heart of the Regent Bowerbird Aviary, we created a striking mock rock waterfall that runs through the centre of the exhibit, forming both a dramatic focal point and a lifelike habitat feature. The cascading water enhances the lush, rainforest‑inspired planting, creating a cool, humid microclimate that supports the birds’ wellbeing while immersing visitors in the sights and sounds of a natural environment. Sculpted rockwork and flowing water combine to blur the line between exhibit and landscape, offering guests a sense of stepping directly into the bowerbirds’ world. The result is an aviary that balances beauty, authenticity, and animal care — a living showcase of design and craftsmanship.
